We are thrilled to welcome you to our Grand Opening on Saturday, June 29th! The day will be packed with fun activities and a spectacular fireworks display. Don’t forget to bring your warm woolies! While we are fully booked for staying guests, the event will be open to the public from 3 PM.

For those staying with us over the weekend, we will have normal Friday dinner in the cafe. Come try the best of Stanthorpe’s local producers, foods, wines and more! Plus, we deliver your food to your cabin or site!

Food

Our food offerings in the cafe will be slightly different on Saturday June 29. From 9am – 10am, we will have a pancake breakfast available to our guests, as well as coffees and drinks from the cafe. After breakfast, we will have various spaghetti and pastas available from the cafe to purchase for lunch and dinner. After the fireworks, we will have popcorn, waffles and desserts available for movie snacks.

We will have some food trucks outside of the cafe from 2pm – 6pm for a different and delicious food offerings. We welcome these trucks:

• Evelyn Street Foods
• Make Eat Easy – Fijian Street Food

Activities

Our Grand Opening day will be filled with lots of fun and things to do! We will have raffle for some hampers with local produce as well as a huge program of activities.

Caravan Talk – 1pm – 1:30pm

Adam and Leticia from Suncoast Caravan Service will be talking about all things caravanning, including a $1,000 camping gear give away!

Music

We are joined by David and Sarah Hume, a live music duo from 1:30pm – 4:30pm. They will be playing a mix of hits and songs you love.

Following this, we will have DJ Mark play some tunes from 4:30pm – 5:30pm.

Tastings & Market

We have the following tastings scheduled in the cafe. Join us to learn more about our region’s wonderful local producers and try their delicious wines and food. If you like something, you’re able to purchase some on the day. No bookings required!

• Symphony Hill Wines – 12pm – 12:45pm
• Balancing Heart Vineyard – 3pm – 3:45pm

We will also have a small market with other producers for you to try throughout the day, including:

  • Lanka Cookies
  • Whiskey Gully Honey & Products

Paint & Sip

Come and have a bit of creative fun! We’ll be holding a paint & sip with Meeshell, a local artist, at 1pm for maximum of 20 people. $50 per person to cover supplies.

Movie

Directly following the fireworks, we will be playing a kids movie on the big screen! We will have the campfire pumping, but make sure to bring your blankets and warm clothes and grab some popcorn.
